The old saying "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" certainly holds true when you're talking about dental care.  This is the checkup that can save your life....literally.  You're wise to make regular dental appointments for your self and your family for cleaning and check-ups as you can prevent a lot of dental problems from starting or becoming worse through neglect.  Perhaps you didn't know that common bacteria in the mouth may lead to deadly infections.  Well it's true.
